Neither is it an endeavor to create the "next/new BTS". There are, of course, survivalistic elements to the show, but I don't think it's going to be heavily oriented as the Produce Series. I mean, from what I know I-Land was not supposed to be a "survival show" by definition. TOMORROW X TOGETHER is now the best selling 2019 Rookie Group. Has now sold over 710,000 album copies on Gaon Chart. 1 on iTunes Top Album Charts in over 50 regions all over the world.Įternity had 689,137 Spotify streams on its debut day In addition to topping Japan's Oricon daily albums chart (Last year, The boys were also the most sold single (magic hour) and album (star + magic) of a Rookie Group in Japan the second largest music market in the world.) “The Dream Chapter: ETERNITY” also hit No. They were 7th in highest first day in Hanteo 2020 The Dream Chapter: Eternity’s sales are 77,000 times higher than their debut album The Dream Chapter: Star’s first week sales as well (which had mostly ARMY backing.) The Dream Chapter: Magic stood at 124,000 and which makes The Dream Chapter: Eternity’s sales 56,000 times higher. I'm sick of BH being such a try-hard lmfao we get it your IPO going public soon.Īccording to the Hanteo chart, TXT’s album Eternity achieved a sales record of 181,009. These big survival shows aren't reliable anymore to anyone anymore, not even the fanatics.īig Hit needs to focus on growing TXT bc BTS will be enlisting soon and this company is nowhere without BTS. It doesn't even matter who it's from, these survival shows are done in Korea, it's expired, and the hype has moved to China until they also come out with a huge rigging scandal. And I truthfully doubt the KOREAN general public will eat it up like they did Mnet's Produce. even YG Treasure Box got more hype internationally. But the thing is, the people talking about I-Land aren't even close to as loud people were for the Produce seasons. I even see some international Armys on twitter calling it the "next big thing" bc it's Big Hit like they deadass worship the company and "omg it's IU this show will blow up". they go the trainees in some dystopian Maze Runner gear and rumors have it there will be 24/7 video coverage of the trainees throughout the entire show. Big Hit's pulling out all the stops for this one with getting IU to sing the "signal song" Bang PD produced and Zico + Rain mentoring/judging lmao. It doesn't matter if it's from Big Hit + CJ Entertainment. When I say "flop" I mean that it won't be Bang PD's wet dream of starting a new BTS from scratch when TXT failed to blow up right away.
